Since early WiiU's days The "midia" try to hide Nintendo in a corner, ignoring it's existence. The same for "youtubers".

The reason is because the games on PS4/xb1 differ greatly from many Nintendo games. Sure, there'll be some instances such as HZD/BotW, but typically games like Halo and Forza won't be compared to Splatoon and Mario Kart. It'll be compared to GT sports and whatever the hell the same demographic is interested in

Probably because they don't see Nintendo in direct competition with Sony and Xbox. It's more so it's very heated between Sony and MS for some reason, I suppose because they're competing for the same demographic, while Nintendo is kind of doing its own thing, targeting the general audience with its own games and line up.

From I remember about this is that nintendo goes after youtubers alot who make vids on their games so that's likely the reason why they stay away from nintendo products.

Yeah, I think you're wrong. Although I did see both main protaganists on lists for the "hottest female lead in a video game".

I remember something of the sort. 

Nintendo fans can't use the internet so the audience isn't there.

Also speaking from experience good luck showing any brief footage of a nintendo game on youtube. 

Nintendo reaches an entirely different demographic. The people who'd want to see Nintendo Youtubes are most likely to ignore those vids and instead watch DanTDM play another few hours of Minecraft.
