People that refuse to play a game because the framerate isn't 60 fps, or the resolution isn't 720p. People that seriously game on a smartphone, and think it's better than a handheld console.

2D games are automatically less worthy then 3D games.

Screw that logic. Some of my favorite games in 2D and are better for it.

hahaha so true. Even yesterday my sister-in-law, a non-gamer, saw me playing splatoon 2 and asked me why i'm playing it it looks like a kids game. Now thats just straight ignorance on her part, but for gamers to say it is just stupid.

"Resolution/fps/graphics don't matter" - Goes on about how all 3 of those matter when they get a hold of one or all 3.

"your taste in games is bad" - Goes on or implies that their taste is objectively better than yours.

People telling off racing games as "going around in circles". It's fine if racing games aren't you're cup of tea, but don't make these types of comments about it. People like different genres and you don't bash on one of them because it doesn't interest you.

Like, the people who say this are in the very tiny minority of people of bought a wii u. Nintendo will cater to the vast majority, stop being being heartbroken about your wii u exclusives being ported. Many of these games didn't sell as well as they could on wii u, because of the small userase. It's not like these ports are taking the place of completely new games, as well (botw, arms, splatoon 2, Mario odyssey). Heck, the wii U game pad completely RUINED star fox zero, the game deserves a second life on switch without those horrendous controls.

People who get ridiculously defensive and hostile over a game or a game company when someone criticizes them in any way. I've never understood that kind of mentality, especially on anyone over the age of 14.

People who claim any game with a cartoonish art has a "great art style" just because it's cartoonish and has colors in it.

Yep. one of my pet peeves too.  Considering that game scores are so skewed a score of 5-7 is considered mediocre to bad. So in theory a bad rwgardless of how bad deserves at least a 1 or 2 just for being released. 

I alwaya assume that any 0 scores for a game are just trolls and fanboys.
