Well, it's all opinion really. Anything can be excused with "seems like a fair price to me!" I was really looking forward to the game but I kind of expected a 20 or 30$ price tag. 40$ is out of my budget.

Most of the best *current* Playstation 4 exclusives are 40$. Like Horizon Zero Dawn, Ni-Oh, and Persona 5(Horizon was on sale for a long ass time, the other two were only on sale in select places though).

The Master Chief Collection included 2 remasters, 1 2007 game and 1 2012 game, and all the DLC, for 60$

And you get three Crash Bandicoot titles ... for 40$. Just seems like a 20$ or 30$(pushing it) value to me

Yeah I know it's an opinion and I wasn't excusing it, no need to do that when apparently a lot of people thought so too and bought the game at launch. Asking for the game to be $20 is too much imo, lol but well you can always wait for discounts. If you haven't played Crash before and waited 20+ years to do it you can wait a few months more :^)

lol. My 20$ playstation gift card needs a home!

Would be cool. Same with the Spyro trilogy.

Few things would make me happier than that.

How? You get 6 games for 50$ with the Kingdom Hearts 1.5+2.5 collection and 4 games with all the dlc(and much more modern games) with Master Chief Collection for 60$(in 2014).

I really hope Activision will do this! Just imagine Crash Team Racing and Crash Bash Remakes with online multiplayer.

I didn't say it was the best deal out there, just that it's affordable to get 3 remade games for $40. That's just a good price for anybody with disposable income. They could have charged a full $60 and people would still have bought it. And technically, KH 1.5+2.5 comes with 4 games, 2 of those are just cinematics.

Whether or not it's sold doesn't make it a good deal. Kingdom Hearts and Halo are also much more technical games - they both come from more advanced generations yet their offers are far better. This is overpriced, just like most Activision titles, this time it's just a title people love so they let it slide.

It's not that overpriced though, but when you have so many PS games to buy already, it just feels kind of expensive. I'm not saying Crash is bad though. It's just 3 PS1 titles that are highly homogeneous, well it makes me think twice.

It's not that much of a rip off though, but when you have so many PS games to buy already, it just feels kind of expensive.

Except for KH and Halo being more technical games, I disagree with all of that but we can agree to disagree. People know what they are getting into, it's not deceitful. It's the exact same games, in a bundle, with a modern coat of paint, at a discounted price (based on the standard $60 pricing)

That's why I changed the wording from rip off to overpriced. I know what I'm getting into, I just think it's fairly expensive. I don't think Activision should be praised for not charging 60$. But agree to disagree sure. I was just agreeing with the poster, I wasn't trying to derail the thread or bash the game. But then everyone replied so ... oops, sorry!
