It just seems rather odd how you get those diamonds in the rough or one hit wonders on PC that go unnoticed for a while, yet the games that are "anticipated" are in such a tiny miniscule list. Does the list even account for new games on GoG or anywhere else besides Steam?.

If Dream daddy is absolutely an anticipated title, then it should hopefully sell enough copies like PuB has.

Yeah, instead of PC it should be GOG, Steam and whatever else these titles are coming from.

It could still make for a decently sized list without including 5+ pages of daily releases. Anticipated games can also be subjective.

 

It just means that each week we get the same tiny list and it paints the picture that there isn't anything "decent" to be found besides a daddy sim or something else when there are actually more games out there that aren't being looked at. That's why I like Extra Credits "games you probably missed/might not have tried", because they focus on lesser known titles that aren'et hyped on name or concept alone (like the weird hype for daddy dating sim, which doesn't seem like wordwide hype and more a small crowd kind).

Death Squared (the 1 switch game this week) is some form of Co-OP 4player (required?) puzzle game?

I'm playing it now. It supports up to four players co-operatively.

There's a campaign of sorts with 80 levels that can be played solo (with each stick controlling a block) or with two players, each controlling a block.

Then there's a party mode where four players can play at the same time. The goal across all modes is to get all blocks on their corresponding squares.

My review will go up on Wednesday, if you're interested in reading more :)

I saw a video of it, gameplay wise (4 people playing it) and it looked fun.

That's actually what one of my mates at work was like when he heard about the game . He was giddy that it exists, but has zero intention of buying and playing it. Tumblr is making a thing out of it, but that's not the entire site and all users of tumblr making a thing of it, so it just seems like a niche crowd going gaga over a slightrly different dating sim.
