Personally, I don't really like the new duo in Spla2n. They don't feel as well designed or iconic as Callie and Marie. I do find Marina's design much more interesting though. She's black AND an octarian. I guess Nintendo's trying to have more diversity in their games, as also seen in ARMS.

I can never remember who's who. I think that Marie and Callie are going to have much more staying power though, it seems to me that they've already supplanted themselves as the Splatoon duo.

Callie and Marie are the better duo, but Marina is the best of the four

Marina and Pearl are both fine, but they seem to try too much to be fresh. I like the simpler Callie and Marie, they have personality and don´t try too much.
