Forums - Nintendo Discussion - THQ Nordic looking to support Switch “wherever it’s possible”

THQ Nordic currently has two games in the pipeline for Switch: Battle Chasers: Nightwar and Sine Mora EX. Speaking with GamesIndustry, business and product development director Reinhard Pollice said that the company is looking to support Switch “wherever it’s possible.” Pollice would have preferred “more beefy hardware but it is what it is, so we just have to work our way around it.”

Pollice’s full words:

“We’ve been in touch with [Nintendo] about Switch for more than a year, so we’ve been looking at it for our current line-up and… we look wherever it’s possible. It’s a bit sad that they haven’t gone out with a more beefy hardware but it is what it is, so we just have to work our way around it.”

Regarding Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Pollice did say that it has been “a challenge to get running smoothly on Switch”. Also, the open-world sci-fi RPG Elex is “just too demanding right now.”

Yeah, cool, now bring Darksiders 3 to Switch.

That last paragraph is just... well, that's not good...

Some support is better then No support.
Because if the games that THQ Nordic does end up putting on the switch sell well, more will follow. Thats always been the general rule.

People want Darksiders III on Switch, if they manage to downscale it they'll make a lot of money out of it !

Eh. I would like them to bring more titles but I cannot think of any franchises I really want that they develop or publish... I will look into what they do bring, however.

I think they'll try to do that, as they gave the Darksiders remaster a Wii U release even after the Switch came out.

Any solid support is definitely welcomed.

So still unprecedented really. When we remove the BS filter the following is stated: "We are still on the fence when it comed to.Switch support and we will only support the Switch if it is super easy because we are not willing to put effort in it".

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

They put Darksiders on the Wii U in 2017. I don't think people should worry about this developer.

Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true
