I get riled online as well, I complete every match though. Dropping out is unacceptable. Take the loss and learn. Practice and get better!

Hello everyone,, I can see why it can be annoying for some, but the thing I've noticed a lot from those that find it irritating is that they fail to notice the other player not having fun on the losing side. They fail to see the equal frustration that the other player is feeling, yet that tiny amount that do just shrug and go "git gud", which never breeds positivity from that kind of exchange.
Tbh I think most games should offer the option for surrender, rather than opting to look out for one side and not the other (especially when one side is suffering frustration and all the other side can do is just piss all over them and expect no consequences). |
First of all, welcome to VGC. Have fun and enjoy your stay!
You raise some good points. One side can only guess how much fun the other side has.
I won't lie, I love using a white branch in Souls when I am invaded and sitting the controller down and walking away. Fun stuff.
I barely play online, much less have the online chat active. The last time I saw someone ragequitting against me was in Pokemon X/Y, and considering how finnicky the 3DS' online, it might have been an honest connection failure.

Usually this isn't an issue for invaders. It's when you do this AND have 2-3 phantoms with you that I'm bothered. Talk about stacking the deck.
First post is a 28 month necrobump. :)
What was I on in July 2017? Alcohol surely. But what else?
Welcome to the site @Petter. I look forward to seeing if you're exposed as an alt.
