It terrified me to the core so much so that it left a stronger impression on me than most other games did, which says a lot.

I won't ever touch it again. No chance.

Good, because it's an abomination, and this is one of the only times I can rightfully shit on a game without having to play it. Word of mouth effects more than people realize.

Nah, it's seriously a fantastic game, but the only genuinely great game that wouldn't recommend to everyone. Very well written and structured. It's really well made and even if you know what to expect it's getting increasingly uncanny throughout. Made my skin crawl. Amnesia was a cake walk in comparison.

I've only heard good word of mouth about this game so far and rightfully so. If you like horror and are emotionally stable you should give it a go.

I won't touch it again not because I hate it or dislike it or because it's bad, but simply because it reminds me of a chapter in my life I'd rather not unearth again.

Look, I like horror, but here's the thing. Have I ever struck you or anyone else here as emotionally stable?

You got a point there I guess.

Is Nintendo going to release the exact same NSO + Expansion Pack overview trailer every time there's a new update? with the only difference being that new content.

You called down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind

Switch Sports stands at 73 on Open Critic

Is this the worst rated Switch first party game ? I don't remember any with a lower score

I don't particularly think the score matters here. Reviews for Wii Sports were pretty close to that, and didn't seem to hurt.

There are plenty that are rated lower or similar. 1-2-Switch at 55, Mario Golf: Super Rush at 71, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX at 69, Miitopia at 70, Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training and Kirby Fighters 2 at 66, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain at also a 73, Nintendo Labo: Toycon 02 at 64. Kirby Star Allies is at 74 just above that. Then there's also Flip Wars at 49, but only published by Nintendo.

On Metacritic Switch Sports is at 74. There Pokémon BD/SP at 73 are lower rated (they got 75 on Opencritic) and Kirby Star Allies is at 73. Big Brain Academy is at 72 on Metacritic, 1-2-Switch at 58, Brain Training at 64, Kirby Fighters 2 at 65, Flip Wars is at 53, Nintendo Labo: Toycon 02 is at 68, Toycon 03 at 69 and Toycon 04 at 71. Famicom Detective Club got also got a 74 on Metacritic just like Super Kirby Clash.

As you can see there are a lot of first party Switch games that are rated lower. It's not even close.

Different times. People didn't use internet as much.

Thank you for the comprehensive list. I see a pattern in the games that score low, which, mostly, the same criticism I'm reading for Sports, it has no new ideas and sounds overall uninspired

Well, except Labo

Wreckfest looks like it could be the next miracle port for the Switch given its a CPU intensive title that's 30fps even on PS4/Pro and Xbox One/X. Unless the footage is bogus it looks great for a port down as well.

Redout 2 has my interest; the first game had real potential but the execution was mixed and the Switch port was poor. Here's hoping they learn from their mistakes and do better with the sequel. It's encouraging to hear that they're focusing on making it more accessible than the first game.

Both the original Majora's Mask and Majora's Mask 3D sold 3.36mil units.
Pretty cool imo.
