Nine Parchments is about as good as the Trine games. Which means it sucks.

Trine 2 wasn't that bad, was it? Not a huge fan though. But, yep, I tried the Nine Parchments demo and it didn't really click on me.

Trine 2 has graphics and music to offer, but everything concerning gameplay is executed in the most boring way possible.

I played the Nine Parchments demo with my brother. The button configuration is a headscratcher (why toggle between spells when there are more than enough buttons on the controller), aiming of the spells is inaccurate and there's friendly fire to make matters worse. When it is already this bad with two players, it has to be a nightmare with four. Friendly fire is such a terrible idea in a long-range-focused Gauntlet-type game.

Why, what, that game HAS friendly fire? Who came up with that idea? I really can't phantom friendly fire in the game based on the videos I've seen. It's just deal breaking.

Fire Emblem Warriors doesn't deserve to flop. I've been super addicted to it and I can say it's a rather polished game. Too bad it lacks an appealing roster.

Koei said they were pleased with sales of their Switch games so it must of done fine enough for them. Low sales but the game is probably on the low end of budget scale. In Japan I believe it's also priced higher than the average Switch game.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been very present lately. Been sick for the last 2 weeks, and with the holidays everything has been a bit crazy here xD Things should be returning to normal though, so I'll be updating more often!

Speaking of updates, here's the latest poll results:

Nintendo Switch popped up on Adobe Digital Insight's list of top selling products for Black Friday. They're based on retailers data bust still just predictions, but the fact that the Switch is so high on the list bodes well for actual sales this holiday season.

I can say that is why I skipped the game I have no idea who most of the roster is(I assume it's characters from the 3ds games but they are the only fire emblem games released in the west I havent played)

I skipped mainly because it's a musou game. I loved Hyrule Warriors, was my first musou game, but I also in that regard learned what a Musou game was. I got lets say burnt out. I need another few years before I pick up another, or a really really appealing version.

FIre Emblem missed that mark for two reason.

1. Characters used. As you said, too many recent games only. They have how many games and characters to choose from and they stick to like 2 of them only.

2. New Characters and story. The charcters created for the game looked insanely boring and un-unique imo. Hyrule warriors the new created characters looked interesting and fun. These two look like bland generic blond lords. THen any sort of story trailers didn't hook me at all.

Haha, I don’t disagree to the “most boring way possible” part, but I actually really enjoyed the game. One of my favourite on Wii U. Then again, I have a history of enjoying boring games including Sim Ant, Dwarf Fortress, Mario is Missing, and Mario’s Time Machine.
