Ugh, I'm REALLY on the fence for Doom and Rocket League right now, the former because I don't think I'll enjoy an FPS with stick controls, and the latter because I would rather get it physically.

Any advice I suppose? -_-;

Maybe instead buy a game you're on the fence about for a positive reason?

Um, I don't know. Is Rocket League getting a physical version eventually? Have you played either on other consoles?

Psyonix Games teased on Twitter that they would discuss details about a physical release at a later time, but that's about it.

I never played either of the games I mentioned, but I am very curious about them, especially Doom, but my problem is that my PC is very outdated and can't run it, but I know for a fact that I prefer mouse/keyboard when it comes to shooters.

Last time I tried an FPS on console was Overwatch on PS4, and while it was far from terrible, I am scared that a controller might hinder me in a game that is apparently fast-paced and what not.

If Doom had gyro aiming, that would be a good compromise. But like you say, you might be better off getting it for PC.

Rocket League you could do the same, should be able to run on crappy PCs (it worked on my laptop), although the possibility to play splitcreen in handheld might be a selling point. I'm thinking about getting it on the Switch, liked the little I played during the free Steam weekend.

Buy Doom now, and buy Rocket League in a couple months time when it gets a physical release. Support all the third party devs on Switch making an effort.
You can use it as an opportunity to finally get used to twin stick controls.

Someone made a video about the connection from Xenoblade 2 to the Xeno franchises.

Noice, good to see the ARMS community is still going strong! I'm not really contributing to the tournament side of it and I feel a little bad for that, but hell I don't even play in Splatoon tournaments. Also, as it goes without saying, ignore them ignorant haters! And speak of the devil, ARMS is getting another major update soon! Though weird that they haven't fully revealed the new character yet iirc. Guess we're to discover him for ourselves!

When will the first Skyrim reviews come out? It's too close to release, someone must have played it and reviewed it already.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
