RE9 has leaked online so watch out for spoilers.

Say what you will about GKCs, but Pokopia will be completely spoiler free up until the embargo lifts (a couple days prior to launch).

I mean, just imagine: Had TotK been on GKC, then maybe Nintendo wouldn't be going off on their current massacring spree against all of these Switch emulators. Honestly, I can't even blame them for responding so aggressively— I'm all for game preservation, but these emulators should at the very least give it a full calendar year before allowing newly release software to be playable.

People who are pirating games that are still readily available for purchase on the open market or in TOTK's case, not even out yet, don't give one rat's ass about game preservation, they just want free shit and use game preservation as a shield.

Honestly, THOSE are the type of people that piss me off! If you're gonna pirate, go right ahead. You do you. But at least have the balls to be honest about why you're doing it. I mean, you're still a dick, but I can at least respect the honesty. Don't give me this "game preservation" bullshit!

When the game is no longer being printed or sold on the open market, that's one thing. But if a game is still being printed and sold openly and companies are still counting on that revenue to pay their developers and fund other projects, and you STILL choose to pirate it - You're not preserving shit, you're just taking money from their pockets they need to make a living.

Around the Network

Edit: Just checked it's listed on the eShop now.

This feels like they accidentally revealed this too early.

GBA game for $20 instead of being free on NSO with the rest. Of course it will sell because it's Pokémon but FFS Nintendo.

It's a very peculiar way for it to be revealed especially for this franchise I can only assume they couldn't fit it in the Pokemon Presents next week so just announced it now but we'll see.

And now those very real 5M folks who were just waiting for Pokémon FRLG to hit the console will finally purchase a Nintendo Switch. The End.

Not only that.

- GBA games were $8 each on the Wii U eShop.

- NSO games have online play. This release apparently doesn't.

- NSO offers a variety of visual options and savestates. I doubt we are getting any of that here (specially savestates).

- It's Kanto. Again.

I love classic Pokémon with passion. But this is close to an armed robbery.

Fire Red was my first and favourite Pokémon. I actually think having the ability to buy the games outside of a subscription is a good thing too.

But when you have an expansion sub that charges extra to get free GBA games, then you release one of your own GBA games not in the sub I'm already paying for... Get out of here lol.

It might have the NSO features as they're probably just using the same emulator. It also should have just given you both versions bundled instead of being seperate purchases lol.
