Man, Sony just showed up Nintendo today! Mina, Darwin, 2D GoW, and 2D Castlevania?? Oomphf. Nintendo needs to respond with a solid Direct… and soon!

(Granted, almost all the big reveals I’m excited for are coming from third-party studios, not Sony… meaning I’m just thrilled to add a ton of new games to my Steam/Switch 2 library, and Sony managed to snag all these massive reveals.)

Honestly, the State of Play was just as mid as the partner showcase to me, the only company that was cooking there was Konami with the new Castlevania and Master Collection vol. 2. But the showcase had Kyoto Xanadu, the Time Stranger port, and even surprised me with Rebirth coming so soon, so they're even.

I believe that’s what that means. I’m thinking of something along the lines of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom/Link’s Awakening Remake but with an art-style closer to Sonic Superstars or Mario Wonder. (Or an anime art-style could look pretty!)

So we're just forgetting Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee?

Unpopular opinion: The Let’s Go gameplay loop is my favorite in the series and should’ve continued. Fighting wild Pokémon in order to catch them is monotonous— why not make it into a fun little minigame instead? I’m not raising ky team to terrorize nature, but to overcome the Elite Four.

That's putting it lightly. Just look at how they treated Star Fox after Star Fox 64. Krystal was once a budding protagonist, now she's been reduced to a sex symbol with a backstory that'll never be resolved. -_-

Eh, Krystal was always meant to be not much more than simple gooner bait.

Not in Dinosaur Planet she wasn't.

Physical version of Rayman is £29.99 up from £17.99 for the digital. Quiet a premium, probably will still go for that though. Comes with stickers, postcards and a poster.

Nintendo's been dropping Mario Galaxy Movie art on X. Gorgeous! It's like that "Graphics in 2008 v. in 2013" with the hyper-realistic Mario head, but this time, it's like actually good looking.

The game is apparently closer to Viva Pinata than anything else.
