Well I've crossed another game off my backlog! ...although maybe it's cheating with how short it is, lol.

Abzu!

I already knew I'd love the game since the moment I saw it, it's basically Journey but underwater, and oh shit it's such a beautiful game graphically... also there's an island you can climb onto that is populated entirely by penguins and a single sleeping polar bear, that was pretty cool.

I REALLY enjoyed the game, only took two hours, but honestly for these "artistic" type games I think that's a good enough length, that's about how long Journey was too actually, lol.

Dude ... nice! Thanks for reminding me of this game's existence! I didn't know what the name was and I had been searching for it for a while

What other games do you have on your backlog? I have a pretty big one myself.

Around the Network

I'm now over 13th prestige on cod4. And I've almost got the regal camo for the snipers!

Can't remember them all off the top of my head so there's going to be some missing here, and some are digital too so I can't remember even half of those lol, also this is just PS4, doesn't include PS3, WiiU, Vita or 3DS;

Knack 2
Final Fantasy XV
Fallout 4
Star Ocean 5
Metal Gear Solid V
Dark Souls 2 (Yup, never played it on PS3, bought the PS4 version instead lol)
Horizon Zero Dawn
Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age (This'll be my first time playing it, the only mainline Final Fantasy game I've never played!)
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Shovel Knight
Diablo III (Thinking of buying a second copy for my girlfriend so I have a co-op partner, had it sitting on my shelf for over two years now lol)
DmC: Devil May Cry (I've played the first two or so hours of it, never actually finished it)
Yakuza 0 (Only bought it last week, or the week before, I forget)
Valkyria Chronicles (Technically I could skip this since I own it on PS3 and finished on that already, but man it's a good game, I double dipped!)
Snake Pass
Dragon Quest Heroes II (Bought it straight after finishing the first earlier this year)
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles
Portal Knights
Darksiders (Could possibly skip this too, since I've finished it on PS3, but rebought it on PS4)
Darksiders 2
Life is Strange
I Am Setsuna
The Walking Dead: Season Two
Tales From The Borderlands
The Wolf Among Us
Batman: The Telltale Series

Damn. I probably have a worse backlog when you include all the platforms I have though

if I were you, I would focus on which game series is my favorite. Aside from that though, I'd also save stuff like the Telltale games or Life is Strange for a rainy day. Definitely wouldn't recommend Final Fantasy or Diablo or Crash N.Sane Trilogy if you're trying to finish your backlog fast : P

Rise of the Tomb Raider is really fun, the only Tomb raider game i've played. It made me put the bar in the Uncharted style games a bit higher. I really enjoy it and it's the kind of game that immerses you for a few hours at a time. That being said it took me 18 hours to finish it, but that's not a lot for an open world game and it felt like a comfortably paced game. I did play it on PC on max settings though, don't know if it's like the Witcher 3 were it feels like ass on consoles.

Horizon Zero Dawn is similar although the sidequests are soooo much better than the main quest that it took me about 30 hours to complete it.

Snake Pass is really fun and has one of the better soundtracks in recent memory, despite being a tad repetitive. The gameplay is really fun and it shed a new perspective on what platformers could be. It's most likely pretty short too, 6ish hours.

Your list is difficult because it's almost all really long games. I don't know what advice I could give xD.

Here is a good website to figure out time investments: https://howlongtobeat.com/

Persona 5 or Nier: Automata

If your backlog wasn't an issue, I'd BEG you to get Persona 5 ASAP.

I try not to buy too many games though not only to help spare my wallet, but because I know I need time to properly digest games, so your own discretion I suppose.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Also the game put me in a really good mood while playing it and as the credits were scrolling, lol.

Now onto something else;

I wrote a comment on an article earlier that I didn't want to start Final Fantasy XV until all the episode DLC is out, but then it turns out they're STILL gonna' be adding stuff to it, holy shit I just want to play the "complete experience" and was hoping sooner rather than later, so I'm either gonna' say fuck it and just play it early (By that I mean start it before the end of the year, lol), before they fix those bad chapters or whatever is wrong with it (If anyone could and would like to elaborate, please do so WITHOUT spoilers, cheers!) or just ignore the game even longer and find something else to play in the meantime... just not sure what.

To be honest, those chapters never really bothered me that much and probably because the rest of the game isn't so great either. It's just slow pacing and dungeon crawling, which happens with every JRPG at some point.

Dishonoured Death of the Outsider is great, Lurk's powers whilst only having three are some of the best Arkane have created and you have them fully unlocked from the second mission on. Stealing an NPC' appearing and wiping out entire buildings is so satisfying.

Thank you I'm really interested by this Dishonored.

Japanese dope VR game

Sorry guys for not updating these past few days, I was focusing on my driving test/homework, so I kind of let this fall by the wayside for a few days!!
