Sweet. I recommend buying any maps vendors have because it unlocks fast travel points on the map for ya. It makes getting around alot easier.

I've not bought any maps yet, I like to walk around and explore all the map myself, makes it more fun, I also only really fast travel if where I'm going is at the other end of the map, or if it's a whole new map I'm going to.

Witcher 3 is the type of game I would want to play again some time but it's such a time commitment

Yes, yes it is. And yeah the game requires so much time! I was honestly only expecting like 50-60 hours to finish the game, but apparently I've still got quite a lot more to do and I'm past the 60 hour mark, this is gonna' be a 100+ hour playthrough for me, and that's not including either of the DLCs!

To be honest, you'll likely break that rule with that place cosidering how big it is. Going back and forth there gets tedious if you've been down the path you're going. If i remember correctly, you can go faster in the boat by using the run button.

Well I'm gonna' be doing a second run, but in this one I'm planning on getting all the trophies except the difficulty one, I only play games on normal difficulty the first time round, but I'm making sure not to mess up so I don't miss any missable trophies too... gonna' suck having to win that Gwent tournament though, I can't play the game for shit, lol.

Have you been buying the gwent cards from inns and playing against people? Which deck are you using?

Tried LawBreakers open beta today, and it seemed like a lot of fun. Maybe it was because I won all 3 matches, but I'm really liking the game. It won't have a good lore like Overwatch does, but meh. It's a solid, fun game.

No, I was planning on leaving it until after the story, although I'm still going for all the missable cards along the way... just need to get the cards from the Triss sidequest and the Gwent tournament, then I won't have to worry about missing an. As for which deck I'm using... Northern Realms I think? Is that the one you start with? If so, that lol. I've bought a few cards from merchants, but haven't gone out of my way, like I've got a few spy cards, a decoy, and two scorch cards to use, but I'm still losing like 2/3 of my matches anyway lol.

You really should try to get as many cards as you can to get yourself more options an stronger cards. The norther realms deck is my favorite because I use alot of spy cards with cards that have tight bond to stack up points. I also use those medic cards, commander's horn (to up double points), only special cards that have a high point or good effect. You just have to set up your deck to where you'll more of the cards you want and less of the not so good ones. There's a bit of luck involved in it though.

I wish I liked the main games but overall DQ is always to slow for me.

On the other hand I just platinumed DQ heroes II (165 hours, some do it in +380 hours so I was kind of fast :o).

:O That's an insanely long plat!!!

That's because it is DQ and it is typical random drop item system XD.

Basically at the end of the game you have insane monsters (dark souls like) who can one hit kill you and take 10*20 minutes to beat. After beating them you get one of the four possible different items. One of the items is a would be weapon drop and it is an Uber weapon for one of your team members. Just think that you have +20 characters so if you only need one weapon left you potentially can get that particular weapon only 1 times in 80 times you beat those insane bosses....And yeah you can get duplicates :(.
