Despite being a Wii and DS fan, there is one common criticism of Nintendo (usually made by Sony/Microsoft fans) I have never seen addressed by the community. I believe it is an extremely valid criticism and would like to take this opportunity to discuss it and see if we can come up with a counter-argument or whether it stands.

Just like the Sony and Microsoft fans have said, I too am beginning to see the truth. It seems as though Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon only do sell on Nintendo systems. Look at Metroid, for instance. Not one game in the Metroid series appears on a Sony or Microsoft console, but Metroid Prime and Super Metroid have both been exclusive to Nintendo consoles even when they're not the most popular. I can see it as a monopolising practice now: Nintendo are deliberately witholding Zelda games from the Xbox 360 even though they might sell better on it. It's like they're deliberately losing sales to spite the competition.

I have checked Wikipedia and other sites, and it seems an even more disturbing trend has been happening unnoticed until the Sony and Microsoft fans respectfully raised the issue: not a single Nintendo game has ever appeared on a non-Nintendo console. This is an outrage! Sony and Microsoft deserve these games and Nintendo are holding back the entire games industry by denying them these series.

I call for a boycott of Nintendo until the situation changes.

Who cares ... get a NES/SNES/N64 emulator if you want Nintendo games so much ...

You don´t see Sony or MS put their own games on other consoles so why should Nintendo?

Anyway all those arguments about putting Nintendo games on their console of choice is pure envy because Nintendo games are the best and most of them are the best selling games ever

Sony and Microsoft don't put there games on other platforms so why should Nintendo. So Microsoft should let Halo be on Wii? This would be the same as Metroid being on Microsoft. Mario Galaxy should be on PS3 by your reasoning. I don't understand what your point is. I mean really you're acting goofy.
