Splatoon was bundled with every other WiiU, of course it had a good attach rate. And I doubt Splatoon will have sold more than Horizon by the end of it.

Take a masterpiece game, copy almost eveything, but change the characters, enemies, plot, and the name of the game. But the mechanics are the same. Well, new IP, still a masterpiece. But I think that it is not the best new IP.

As a new IP, I consider not only the best game among them, the main thing is the inovation, new mechanics, ideas, something that refresh the gaming, something that gives the factor:"wow, Ive never played something like that before''. The best game among the new IPs is not the best new IP, IMO.
IDK for how many of the new IPs this gen that applies because I didnt play many of them.

That isn't true, that was said buy most of people that actually played Splatoon. I don't make any excuses, I gave you plenty of clear facts that you keep ignoring and keep saying its average game. Again, Wii U had more than 10 good games, but Splatoon is one of best selling and one of most popular Wii U games, why!? Do you realise that Splatoon sold just little less than Smash Bros 4!? Why now Splatoon2 has such incredible strong pre orders in Japan!?

Also Splatoon won "Best Multiplayer" and "Best Shooter" game awards for from The Game Awards 2015, "Best Family Game" award from Golden Joystick Awards, "Best Third-Person Shooter" award from GameTrailers' Best of 2015 Awards, "Best Competitive Multiplayer" and "Best Shooter" awards from IGN's Best of 2015, "Game of the Year" award from 2016 Japan Game Awards...average game doesn't get this kinds of awards.

Wii U had two CoDs, and they bombed hard on Wii U.

Onother lie, Splatoon had great sales even before bundles, Splatoon was launched in May 2015. so 2.5 years after Wii U launch when Wii U had 9.5m sold consoles (later managed to sell just 4m more), and start receiving Splatoon bundles only monts after Splatoon launch, and of course there were other bundles along side Splatoon bundle, MK8 bundle, SM3DW bundle, NSMBU bundle, Nintendo Land bundle, Smash Bros bundle...Splatoon in less than month after launch sold 1.1m.

Wii U is dead for quiet time now so Horizon will sell more than Splatoon 1, but Splatoon 2 will most likly sell more than Horizon.

Actually on lots gaming sites you will see people regularly mention Splatoon like one of bests IPs this gen, but from some reason you dont want to see that. Splatoon is bigger and more popular new IP than Bloodborne and Nioh, Splatoon sold better than both those games combine. Speaking about Xenoblade IP, Splatoon sold around 5x better than Xenoblade 2 on Wii U, that alone tells you how much popular Splatoon is.

That is our opinion...... and that is your ooinion.....

Bloodborne, horizon Zero Dawn or rocket league.

Splatton won 2 GOTY awards for 2015.Other New IPs of 2015 like Bloodborne won 31, Life is Strange won 12, Undertale won 8, Her Story won 3.

Splatoon barely made it to top 5 new IPs of the year it was released in by the Awards metric. So saying it's anywhere close to being the best New IP of the generation can be nothing more than a joke.

Fact that Splatoon won so many big awards proves that isn't average game like you saying, point that is totally something new, great, very fun game and fact that has great sales and that is so popular proves that is one of best new IPs this gen, even this thread proves that. And now on much bigger instal base it will be even more popular game.

You try to downplay Splatoon succes because it's on Wii U, but you dont understand that Splatoon succes is even bigger because become so popular and great new IP on dead console.

You really are stuck on Splatoon has outsold Horizon.....even though as of April 30th Horizon was atmore than 3.4 million sold with 915,00 of that being digital so a little over 25%. So take into account sales for all of May and June it should pass Splatoon heck very soon and has only been out about 4 months now. Yes the Userbase difference is crazy and Splatoon sold amazing for a new IP but Horizon as a new IP is also selling amazing and at a faster pace at that. So that one you just have to let go of.....the attach rate no argument there. I just think both are 2 great new IPs and are both are doing very well.
