Take a masterpiece game, copy almost eveything, but change the characters, enemies, plot, and the name of the game. But the mechanics are the same. Well, new IP, still a masterpiece. But I think that it is not the best new IP.
As a new IP, I consider not only the best game among them, the main thing is the inovation, new mechanics, ideas, something that refresh the gaming, something that gives the factor:"wow, Ive never played something like that before''. The best game among the new IPs is not the best new IP, IMO.
IDK for how many of the new IPs this gen that applies because I didnt play many of them.
