I like how the best looking games are on console.

Making a best looking game isn't just a matter of power, it takes a big budget to do so. Thirdy parties don't have a big incentive to pour money on better visuals because they don't translate to sales necessarily (let's say, Killzone vs CoD on PS3). It would be better to use that extra money on better MP servers or expend on marketing.

Firsty party games have a mission: showcase the system. If they don't profit, at least they result in pretty screenshots. Internal studios also won't necessarily go bankrupt if a US$ 40M game flops, they can even get a second attempt for free.

I liked it too, enough that I want SOny to take the risk and make a sequel. But we seem to be too small in number for Sony to be willing to take that risk.

Kinda like how Tom Cruise movies give the illusion that he's taller than his female co-stars. It still works, who cares what tricks they use to get there?

I would like The Order 2 as well.

I don't really care how a cover Shooter plays like because I've been playing cover based shooters since at least 2006 man  so bored of them, just like I'm totally done with FPS, overdone and boring, but I've been gaming since atleast 1995.

I have been gaming since 88 or so. Played platforms since those times on Pitfall. Guess all platformers play more or so the same and are boring.

Well, I'm probably too old. I learned a long time ago, that graphically impressive games aren't the one I remember five years from now, if they aren't bringing something else. I'm sure Horizon delivers on that front, though. But this graphic will look old in some years, The classics are the games that are fun even with graphic that is outdated.

Disagree man... Maybe graphic only won't burn in your memory, but I can tell you that the first thing that burned in my memory in GT1, FF IX and RE were their stunning graphics, but perhaps they only stayed because they were fantastic games... and FF IX I still relook at them from time to time and it is still gorgeous.

Pretty much yeah that's why I particularly avoid NSM games, it feels almost identical to every other 2d MARIO. That's why I'm excited for Yooka and SMO though, not played a  game like that since jack and dax

I don't know about 9th gen, there's still a few blemishes here and there, not to mention HZD has some uncanny valley stuff in the faces of some characters (and lip syncing)

This will not change much for the 9th Gen. However, as someone who has already messed with some next gen stuff, let me tell you - neither Horizon nor Uncharted 4 are what you should expect. The fidelity will be far greater!

Anything you can share?

I would fell sad if I were in your boots, because most of what is released have been tried before some times.

Younger Gamers trend to put graphics before everything else.

Just look Dragon quest for 3ds Its on 3d and 2d and in both cases looks very good.

Persona 5 has another art direction and you said you can´t play it because it doesnt look like uncharted.
Sorry but LOL.

I still love to play pitfall on my atari.

Under NDA(s), but here's what I can offer...

A character that I'm working on for a next gen game (Digital Release):

The second is by a team working on a new 9th Gen Psychological Thriller:

Thanks CGI, and although I don't want to put you in trouble, but by "next-gen" is that prototype work, PC game or you received any type of "ballpark" for the likes of a PS5 or Xone2?

Horizon zero dawn has that effect... it leaves you thinking "how did they do this?".

Just played it for the first time and got a Pro this weekend as well with it. Was pretty amazed by the graphics and story and just everything honestly. Unfortunately I didn't finish transferrig all my games over after playing HZD for 5+ hours. So I intiated a transfer that night of a few more games I wanted on my PS4 Pro and it erased all my save data. Not going to start over.

I will come back and play this later though. For now I'm moving on to FFXV.

I just got back into gaming on my PS4 so I haven't got PS+ yet so nothing was being uploaded. As far as disk recover solution not sure what you mean. Another thing that sucks is I was also playing Nioh and spent sometime leveling and getting potions and  antidotes for the centipede boss and I beat him as well. Now I have to do that all over again but that's not as bad at least.

A character that I'm working on for a next gen game (Digital Release):

Those small hairs that everyone has. Love the pores in the skin, the lips. The eyes.

Id say the skin texture is abit off just over the eye (between the eye and eyebrow, its usually smoother there).

Also try seeing if you can add very faint wringles to the forehead (in horizontal lines), no real person lacks them, if its possible via textureing to do.

It looks good though.

See if you can add the Caruncle apart via texture work, just by colouring it abit pink.

It's only 30 FPS. I wish it was 60. It's not next gen for me, they've made a sacrifice for those visuals. When they don't have to sacrifice 60fps to do everything they want in a game, then, I'll be impressed. Until then, I'll be on my PC apart from exclusives.
