Seriously, E3 is still the most important video game event, but it's diminishing. I almost want to say TGS or PSX is catching up.

E3 = the most important gameshow worldwide and in USA

Tgs = the most important gameshow in Japan

Gamescom = the most important gameshow in Europe

Bgs (Brazil Game Show) = the most important gameshow in Latin America

I would consider the game show that comes with the most announcements and reveals as the most "important".

And that is by far E3.

E3 by far. particularly as far as viewership and media attention is concerned. for gods sake Youtube changes their logo to like 'Youtube E3' all over during it.
