Forums - Gaming - Assassins Creed Egypt might have something to do with revisiting a important character (possible Spoilers)

I am playing Asassins Creed Rogue on my BC games on my Xbox and the game brought up an Ankh. A huge clue that egypt would be one of the places that would be of importance to the Assassins. The Templars caught wind of this because the Ankh is used to bring people back from the dead. It is still early in the game but this couldd be a huge clue that the Assasins are headed somewhere between Egypt and Germany to find the Ankh to raise Desmond Miles from the dead.

BC? You mean that thing nobody uses? :-p

I vaguely remember the story stuff in that game... but its good!

They could bring Desmond back, I mean Nolan North isn't doing Uncharted anymore. The guy needs work.

BC is the only thing I really use on my Xbox One. I've said that quite a bit. LOL

I agree though, If the Assassins find the Ankh they could get desmond to kill the Templars. I mean, he has so much potential in the modern world because he has the power of Ezio, Connor and Altair in one.

Since when is Desmond beloved?

They killed Desmond because they didn't know what to do with him. I doubt that has changed since then.

Desmond was the center piece holding the franchise together. Just because they wrote him into the story as a lesser charavter it doesnt mean his potential held no weight. They built him up to be the modern hero in Assassins Creed. Ever wonder why since died there has been no other focal character who uses the animus? Just nobodies. Alot of people were turned off by Assassins Creed 3 because of the fate Ubisoft drew up for him. Ill change the name to important charavter though.

No, I don't wonder. I know exactly why.....it's because nobody cared about their convoluted modern BS.

Its actually the past story that is convoluted. The only thing holding the various branching bits together was desmonds story. Once again, it was sad to see  that his story had such an anticlimactic end, but Rogue revealed something that could raise him from the dead for sure. If they go back to egypt they could track it down. Of course, the modern stories are vague and less than important becuase youre following the past memories of unimportant abstergo patients with ancestors who fit the pieces of a puzzle that might just cause a rebirth of the one you dislike.

They knew what to do with desmond. They knew that if they kept him around they couldnt continue to milk the game once we reached Assassins Creed 3. Ever noticed that the only modern action scenes featued desmond? As I told Angelus...they sold him to be a very big and important character, especially seeing as he has the talent and power of all three of his ancestors.

No, the overarching themes they created in concert with their modern/future plot to try and tie things together is convoluted, and they have since realized that all that shit was completely pointless and unnecessary. All people wanna do in AC is go back into cool periods in time, explore them, and murder fools. Everything that takes you out of that is just in the way.
