After watching the stream and hearing about his special abilities it seems like he makes Spring Man obsolete. I'm guessing he's gimped in some way that hasn't been revealed yet.
Is that a transformation? He seems to be bigger on some pictures than on others.

No, its not about that.They are adapting this model due to the success of the same model with the first Splatoon.So they are trying to replicate that success with the same strategy.

Eh, I like his look but not a fan of him being a Spring Man clone. The arm he was using in the gameplay being just a Toaster reskin is also underwhelming. I love his stage though, hopefully his other two arms are more unique.
