Are you serious?

In terms of exclusive shooters its lacking.

Well stopped making they're main shooter ips ( Resistance and killzone) and they cancelled gow3 directors new fps ip because it looks too much like Destiny :P

But yeah besides farpoint with is PSVR exclusive the only fps Sony made this gen was Killzone Shadowfall :/ I think right now Sony is focusing on PSVR shooters.

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

when people are disappointed by certain games it is entirely their fault. When you let yourself get hype up for releases assuming that they will "be the best ever" you can pretty much assure you will be crying after launch about how "x person lied", "this game sucks" etc.

Destiny is a perfect example. The game was terrific, while flawed. However the hype was out of this world and many convinced themselves it was gonna be the bestest game evar. Of course it was not. They cried. In the mean while I had a jolly good time with the game for a while.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

If your are talking 1st party, then yes.

As others have said, they lack exclusive FPS. Why make em when 3rd party bring more than enough.

All the Assassins games have been dissapointing so far, Destiny was a dissapointment, Andromeda was a disspointment, The Division and Watch Dogs weren't what they were supposed to be.  Battlefield 4 was buggy as hell, Battlefront lacked content. The PS4 best games so far have been RPGs - Bloodbourne, The Witcher 3, Dragon Age, Horizon, etc.  The only two games that really delivered and were not RPG or Sports games were Uncharted 4 and Battlefield 1. And they came in the last 12 months. What were people not playing sports games or RPG playing in the 3 years prior. At least games like Battlefront 2, AC Origins, Spiderman, Detroit Became Human, God of War, Spiderman, Anthem, Red Redemption are coming in the next 18 months.

my recommendations are:

watch dogs 2

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Ratchet and clank

gravity rush 2

Mad Max

Assassin's Creed syndicate (the best AC after AC 2)

Wouldn't uncharted collection, Uncharted 4, Yakuza Zero and Nier Automata fall into action adventure category too?

It's got Wolfenstein and DOOM.

Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank, Infamous and all the third party shooters. They are fine.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

What a strangely out of place question to ask of a platform known for the very thing you're suggesting it lacks. Try MS or Nintendo.

The PS5 Exists.

I feel the same way and im very happy GG moved away from Killzone to something new and exciting like Horizon.

Uncharted definitely fits and the other games pretty much could scratch that same itch, but if you wanna be technical Yakuza is a beat em up and NieR:Automata is a character action game, much like Devil May Cry or Bayonetta.
