This is what I've noticed about Nintendo fans since I started surfing internet gaming websites about Nintendo fans that is NOT applicable to PlayStation, Xbox and PC gamers. These aren't all negative or positive, the company should be held upto some of these standards but on others I can agree with them. They are:

They don't complain about hardware capability of their system and its price to performance ratio.

They don't complain about lack of big AAA third party games on their Nintendo platform and are willing to spend more on another entirely different platform for that rather than wanting everything on that one platform. They should

They don't mind having only a few new games to play every year. Is that a good thing?

They don't mind paying for ports of Nintendo games that are three years old and that they already own. (This could apply to PlayStation fans as well but only in case of Naughty Dog games) or quantic dreams games or all the ps1 and ps 2 classics on ps3 and on the ps4 and shadow of the colossus and so on....

They are highly excited for almost any game that is made by Nintendo because its made by Nintendo and looks fairly decent.

no, the same applies for microsoft and sony

They like portable gaming as much as gaming on a TV or monitor. the 3ds sold way more than the wiiu I would say they like portable gaming way way more than gaming on a tv

They don't mind a lack of content, or don't perceive a less than 50 hour long game as a short game. who thinks a game is short if it isn't 50 hours long? the only ps game I know that's too short is the order

They prefer PIXAR like graphics over realistic graphics. ok

They prefer gameplay simplicity and accessibility over depth. I don't know

They are less critical of their company of choice over any issue and the criticism that comes from them for their preferred company is more constructive and doesn't consist of blanket statements. we are talking about nintendo fans? those guys are as bad as all the others

They like playing retro games more than others. eh no

They almost only discuss Nintendo games and not any third party games even when they do have other platforms to play most third party games that they say they bought to play those third party games. that's not a good thing

I didn't say something was good or bad.

I was going to respond to all of your points, but they became so ridiculous (simplicity over depth? Yeah, Zelda and Pikmin are soooo simple compared to your average shooter) that I realized this thread didn't warrant or deserve a point by point refutation.

Also, I noticed who the OP was; suffice it to say when I see your name it's generally sitting alongside a post either praising Sony or shitting on Nintendo.

I don't give enough criticism to Sony becasue my problems with them aren't topics that are discussed here.

Also never did I shit on Nintendo. If you didn't notice I also pointed a lot of positive aspects of their fanbase as well. And like anything with good things there are cretain bad things to them as well.

Why you have TLOZ in your Avatar's name?

I was interested in it last E3 and I still really want to play it. Looks like an amazing game.

Edit: These are based on comments on various sites, discussions and buying habits I've noticed. Rather than spewing hate for some of the statements that you don't agree with come up with a rational reply.

Aaaaaand the point of this thread is to????????

Pocky Lover Boy!

There is some truth to what hes saying though. I have met Nintendo fans like that online. One person on this forum tried to convince me about how amazing it was that we were paying for online on the Switch. I wouldn't say all Nintendo fans are like that though.

To see if they are actually like that or that my obseravtiosn are wrong.

Haven't really seen it though, all they are doing is downplay the thread or trying to insult me, without any reasonable reply for a civil discussion to happen.

I think this is a new level of bullshit.

This is stupid like "Sony fans are arrogant pricks" or "Xbox fans are brainless bros"

sit down... be humble.

Those are called fanboys, everyone has them. If the mere existence of that type were sufficient cause to generalize like this, one could just as justifiably make the same claims about Sony and Microsoft fans.

Ok lets start this:
There are barely games out there that have 50h of Main Story.
Regarding under - powered hardware... for once it's not a bad thing to not want the best graphics and the players also complains, but just not as others
Nintendo itself releases quite many games per year... people think SONY and MS really games more frequently but their games are 3rd Party for the most part. MS barely releases games (Talking about 1stt Party stuff) and SONY is struggling as well
True they like portable systems, which is not a bad thing
Nintendo games usually have way more depth to its gameplay than you'd think at first glance - for example Smash Bros, Mario Kart and even ARMS. Nintendo is a master at "easy to learn - hard to master
In terms of ports... well I think most gaming companies do that - Skyrim for PS4 did cost 60$
I dont get your point with PIXAR graphics though, I mean they Nintendo games don't have a choice after all. Nintendo releases that kinda games and for the gamers they don't care about the graphics they care about the gameplay
I guess you haven't seen the reaction to their 2015 e3 on YouTube; I'd guess. Since Ninty gamers can be extremely criticising lol
And of course would Ninty gamers love to have all third party titles on their system but yet again they don't really have a choice

I didn't insult them like that. And what is an arrogant prick or a brainless bro? How do you define that? I just gave some simple observations about them and not blanket statements that group them as a certain class of people.

Yes you can generalize Sony and Microsoft fans as well, I'll probably do one on that as well as PC gamers.
