the demo offers a fairly big chunk of game to test out, I personally was sick of the added dash and phase mechanics before the end of the demo stages so I won't be buying it. It's not even in the same league as meat boy imo |
Hey, thank you! I ended up buying it after reading some reviews. Looks like something I will enjoy.

I never really got into Meat Boy enough to have an opinion on it but Slime-San is a steal for the price it is now. It has a ton of content. There’s even a shop that changes your playstyle (like being able to dash twice but no second one or vice versa). I’d say go for it. |
Nice! I got it mainly because of your indication. And you really should play SMBoy

No worries, have you played the end is nigh if you enjoy the sort of meat boy / i want to be the guy gameplay?
It has been reduced a few times on the eshop if you enjoy those games I'd check some reviews / gameplay vids of it online and give it a look.

Cool, so that's...
- Octopath Traveler
- Mario+Rabbids:KB
-Fortnite (don't play this much though)
for me.
Already a dozen people here reporting having bought Octopath.
The game is selling out all over the place, it seems. No country wide shortages other than Japan, but on Reddit, at least, people are reporting at least store-specific shortages in plenty of places. Which I never would have expected that of an old-school JRPG.
I look at the success of this game, and Bravely before it, and just wonder how the hell SE screwed up so badly with Tokyo RPG Factory.

Could be a combination of how cool SE have been with the creation of the game and in giving the Switch players 2 rather large demos in the lead up to the launch of the game, but also think of it like this... spending $60 on Octopath is not only getting you a great game, but you're also investing that money in getting SE's interest in possibly porting more of their work to your system of choice, think of it as a downpayment on possible ports in the future :D
