Okay, this might be a little off topic,

But I was watching Reviews on the Runs from G4, and they had "classic review' on, it was showing that they gave Melee 3.5/10 and 2/10.

LOL, good stuff, they called it "button Mashing" and "has no strategy" at all. Also added they expected "next gen" stuff and got nothing.

Anyone who thinks either game is a button masher is seriously mistaken. At least from my initial impressions, Melee was a little bit more technical than Brawl (wave dashing and the increased speed of the game contributed quite a bit). That game had some serious imbalances too which the designers said they didn't catch.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.
