It's actually sort of good to see with each new thing he says there is less and less defenders of it, while the defenders post more and more to make up for the numbers it's nice to see that the majority of people have had enough of his PR spin, honestly after their E3 showing effectively zero reason to own their console it's nice to see the sales and defense reflecting that fact.

This really isn't the time to be trying to take jabs at other companies right now for MS, they need to deliver a product which gamers want, then when they get on a high horse they can talk down to others, right now it just comes off like a mad man on a street corner yelling at a building about how great his games are.

The industry never called them timed exclusives. in fact, "Console Launch Exclusive" and "First on x" are a welcome step up from the good old days when timed exclusives were simply called edclusives if you ask me.

The Division has been in the works for a long time. That deal was done before the gen started, like Sony and Destiny.

Uh, that content just matches what PlayStation users already had with PS themed cosmetics and the Sweet Tooth car IIRC. That's not marketing or, for all we know, deal related. As your link says, each platform has exclusive cosmetic and car DLC.

Your Division example misses the point as well as that's expansion content. Papa Phil is referring to base game content walled off for certain platforms. Destiny 2 has exclusive content removed from the base game for Xbone and PC users. Division doesn't do that.

The only example I can think of is that Ultimate Team Legends shit in FIFA, but who knows when that deal was made. MS had FIFA rights even during the downfall of the Matrick regime.

i don't care about time exclusive releases or DLC. But what Destiny does is the shadiest shit ever and I'm glad The Xboss won't be subjecting gamers to that filth :)
