I have never really played an Assassins's Creed game but it looks really good. The draw distance is impressive.

Its not native or "true" 4k though, its checkerboarded.
Also 30fps.

Im being a dushe I know... it looks amasing on the xbox one x, Im just saying... all those MS fans going "true 4k 60"... yeah.

Likely most 3rd party games will be the same.

MS positioned it as the "true 4K" console. They promised native 4K. The XBX is more powerful, for sure, but it is also 100 dollars (maybe soon 150) more than a Pro. If games fail to reach native 4K, even if they end up with more pixels than the Pro version (a given, honestly), I believe that the consumer will simply think "oh, so it's not real 4K also, better get the cheaper one then". It's easier to say "real 4K vs fake 4K" than saying "2160p checkerboard with dynamic resolution vs 1600p framebuffer", consumers are normally pretty clueless.

C'mon Radek, Say something .

Show me someone who said that. A 900p 30FPS games was NEVER supposed to run at 4k 60FPS. Microsoft didn't make that claim either. They said they tried to get your typical 900p game to 4k without reducing the framerate.
So 900p 30 FPS -> 4k 30 FPS
900p 60 FPS -> 4k 60 FPS

Alright, I was right all along.

"Assassin's Creed Origins runs better on Xbox Scorpio than PC"

Turns out it's because it runs in 2160p checkerboard, esentially rendering only 4.1 million pixels

What PC though?

Any word that it runs 60fps at 1080p?

True

From the start Micrsoft has said their games would be 4K and 3rd party devs are free to use the power of the system anyway the want.

So expect games like Halo 6 to be native 4K.

There are some crazy low resolution shadowing going on too.

4k, 60fps was never going to be a guaranteed thing anyway, AMD would actually need to build a GPU that isn't mid-range trash and pair it up with a low-end CPU.
