Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga DX + Bowser’s Minions is official. After news about the game’s existence leaked awhile back, the game is being revealed today on Nintendo Treehouse.

well the leak from a while back turned out to be true. wonder how many reveals we will see and if all reveals with be only for the 3ds

Looks great, but I'm kinda bummed they aren't using all new 3D assets like the other 3DS games... that's just my inner 3d CGI artist inside of me talking. It could look better But, I'm going to be all over this when it comes out.

This will almost certainly (and somewhat tragically) be the best Mario RPG in the 3DS.
Also, why are Nintendo still supporting the 3DS with exclusives?

Because it still sells and if you have some development funds that aren't enough for a Switch game why not make money with the 3DS?



The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Really though? Although I can't complain about the Switch Library so far, it's gotten to a point where I feel Nintendo is clearly afraid of making the Switch its primary portable system. The 3DS is at the end of its lifecycle but Nintendo is making it a competitor to the Switch.

Make this game 1080p, and add some additional textures while you're at it, and you have a Switch M&L RPG for mid 2018.
