Xbox One S also only has 1 USB at the front of the console. No one complained. Plus who wires both controllers in at once these days?
I only used the USB port in my Pro once. When I got the system to pair the controller. Ever since then I have never even seen the console again. I've hidden it behind a closet because that thing is ugly as fuck. It gets enough airflow and all, but I don't ever have to look at that Big Mac, let alone use the USB ports or something.

Not really a big deal, but 2 in front is MUCH more convenient. You can easily plug in a flash drive while you charge a controller. Or charge two controllers at once, while having easier access to the cords.
As long as they have more in the back to compensate then it's all good. But would've been nicer to have 2 in the front.
Not a big selling point. Or one at all.
Convenient? Yeah. But not a selling point in any way.
