If it had to be one or the other, new games for a new system.

New games. I keep old systems such as my SNES and PS2, and no issue playing them from time to time, but I enjoy new experiences.

I have a 360. I've played 360 games on it. I don't need to play them again on new hardware. Any 360 games I want to play, I'll just play on 360.

Meanwhile, I just bought a PS4 to try some new titles and series I've heard great things about.

However, as a Nintendo gamer - I really would like my VC purchases transfer to Switch.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Missing bc on PS4 did hurt my game experience the first year. I only bought 2 games that I really enjoyed and those were DW extreme/Legends and infamous. I wished I could have bought some games like the Tales games and RC games but instead I got the 7 day trial free on PSN and platinumed the RC games.  I would have bought those games for like 15 bucks on PSN but instead they have not made money from me.   Honestly you can have 20 new AAA games I probably like 4 of them and only love 1 or 2... I own more than 10 PS2 bc games and probably +10 remasters on PSN.

If you want BC, don't sell your old console. Its easy to live in the past. New console, new games and IPs please.

a new AAA game to me. not games, just game. id rather have Horizon or Uncharted than have BC. because i already played the games i have on my older platform.

sure BC is nice to have, and its better than no BC. but having new content is always better than just replaying the old ones you already played

Why not have both? One doesn't exclude the other.

I miss BC on PS3, and I will sure miss it when I get a Switch too.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I don't care much for BC since I still have all my machines working well and what I don't have, I can just emulate. AAA games (or just good NEW games) all the way

Niether. Most my PS4 library is smaller studio stuff. Very few are LRG or indie but just smaller scale games from studios. I have a few AAA games but not many on PS4.

BC is nice but I keep all my consoles so it's not a huge thing for me but does cut down on space.

Backwards compatability, that way AAA games don't have to be exclusive to one console and everyone can play great games from great developers. New and old games for everyone! Now that would truly be great for the GAMER

Nice thoughts, sir. If only every console maker cared about the GAMER as much you do.

NNID: Zephyr25 / PSN: Zephyr--25 / Switch: SW-4450-3680-7334

Id choose both. Launch PS3's had three generations of physical, hardware based BC.
