25 minutes is a lot of time to reveal trailers without the blah blah blah. remember, e3 2016 was a 3 minutes trailer of breath of the wild.

If that first hour of the Treehouse is to be an "expansion" of the Spotlight, it would make, teoretically the conference be almost one hour and a half long.Hmmmm, need to see how this plays out to give my judgement
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

A tad disappointed in the length, but if it's fast paced, on Switch game after another, with one or two huge announcements outside of the games we know (Super Mario Odyssey) than I'm ok with it.

I just don't get why the April Direct was much longer than an E3 presentation. Seems weird to me. Still excited tho.
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

E3 spotlight will just be announcements and trailers, while the treehouse will be full of gameplay. This is what I think (and hope) will happen.

April was 3DS and Switch; E3 direct is only Switch. Plus, ARMS and Splatoon 2 took up the lion's share of the direct.
Makes sense. Would hate if we had another Phil Spencer situation where someone is just on stage blabbing about how emotional and artistic video games are.
Less fluff and more substance. I appreciate it because everyone at work with be watching it.
Oh, so there'll be announcements in the first hour of the Treehouse, too? That's cool!
