Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 will be 25 minutes long, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime confirmed during a segment for YouTube Live at E3. He teased that there will be “a number of reveals, a number of first looks.” On top of that, within the first hour of Treehouse Live, Nintendo will be breaking more news.

The purpose of Nintendo Spotlight is meant to be “fast” and “to the point” while highlighting “a number of key games.” Super Mario Odyssey will be a big part of it as expected.

The big N’s E3 activities won’t be all about Switch. Reggie promised that 3DS will be getting a lot of love as well.

Sounds like the April Direct. Looking forward to it. Same with Sony's press conference. 

25 minutes seems short but maybe they'll move quickly... hard to really say whhen we have no idea if they're showing off anything else 'new' in Treehouse or whatever 

Animal Crossing better be one of those reveals Reggie!

I wonder why they will do this formant. Why not just announce everything in one go? I mean a lot of people will be watching the direct but not as many will watch the Treehouse. (Now that I think about it. I never watched the Treehouse!)

So I am guessing mid to big scale games for the direct. Small games for the Treehouse. Expect nothing and you will not be disappointed.

I really like this approach. I'm hoping for some titles we haven't thought of yet. Surprise us, Nintendo!

The less corporate suits up on stage running their mouths, the better.

I'm all for more streamlined events .... but 25 minutes .... ehhhh. I'd prefer 35-40 mins.

love the Treehouse, but just 25 minutes for the show deflates my hype
