It doesn't matter the fans thought it was the sequel and it ended up being a psp game....

Oh, and by the way, BBS is considered a main line entry.Nomura himself said that BBS was like KH 0.Just so you know

I believe that was the setup for Kingdom Hearts Coded.

Just looked it up, and I think thats the setup for DDD actually.Found what was confusing me.This is also part of BBS secret movie:(look at around 10:45)

I think they both hint at events at DDD, since Mickey called upon them to get the power to save people(or wake from slumber, dont remember), which is what they are after in DDD.That information is only got(that they need tosave the people on slumber) after the events on Coded, so that letter must be after Coded

OP just seems to think that the next KH had to be KH3. As if having the 3 on the cover somehow changes changes things.

The way I see it Birth By Sleep was as proper of a next entry as it could get. We've gotten a bunch of KH games, and the titles don't really mean much. Although KH3 will be the biggest most fleshed out instalment yet, I'm sure.

Birth By Sleep is the real Kingdom Hearts 3 as far as I'm concerned.

Birth by Sleep could have been called Kingdom Hearts 0 since it's a prequel to KH1 :P

Nah, it will be successful. People are going to doubt it no matter what but it won't flop. Even the remasters of the remasters were successful so how much more so with the actual sequel.

So true. It always kinda annoys me when people call it a "spin-off". Also,  personally I thought BBS was as good as KH1 (subjective opinion, I know). KH3D is pretty important to the plot of the whole series, too. I wonder if the OP has even played BBS and DDD.
