Now I see why  MS conference will be the only  10 out of 10 conference. LOL

I hope they bring it. I really do. Cant wait.

Get your popcorn ready.

I would always expect the unexpected but also keep hype in check... MS have been pretty dire at E3 for the last 3-4 years... with new hardware I cant see how they cannot bring it, if they dont though, expect meltdowns. Looking forward to seeing if Phil has got the message or not.

I have loved all of Microsoft's E3 event other than the Xbox One reveal.

Not worried at all about their event. This has been years in the making.

Well if you've loved the previous ones then, then I dont think you'll be persuaded to think anything different even if they talked about AR for the whole conference. The rest of us though....

And...... This is a topic about what we think about the assessment of the big press conferences, I am saying they'll need to do more than they have done in previous years... you may disagree, thats fine... but they will need to.

What makes a good conference anyway? Does Nintendo, for example, go in with only games we know of but really show them off well, get a high score?

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

I gave my assessment already.

Micorosoft 10/10

They will have another good conference but this one will be their best this gen.

I do not really care what Sony and Nintendo does.

Hmm. I think if nintendo showed just one game, nintendo fans would say nintendo won E3 no matter what the game was. So they'll likely get a 10/10.

Nintendo is going to show Mario Odyssey, so I agree.

Sony: Pretty sure they will have at least a 7/10 conference. They have been the most highly consistent of the 3 and at E3 I'm certain they will have some great surprises up their sleeves. There's no reason to think Sony won't until they don't.

Nintendo: Nintendo has the ball this year for knocking it out of the park and they need to in order to keep Switch momentum going. The Switch has been selling well for now but the question always is for how long. Nintendo absolutely must bring their game's game in this E3 or risk losing the momentum for Switch. It happened to the Wii U and it can happen to the Switch if they're going to just display a bunch of forgettable casual games. You gotta build interest in order to maintain and spread interest.

MS: No idea, but to be painfully honest I don't really expect much out of them. They will elaborate on features and such and so on for the Scorpio I'm sure. More price cut related announcements or service level features for Xbox account users. They might announce one or more new games from the big 3 Xbox exclusives:Halo, Gears and Forza. If they announce a new IP I doubt it will be anything that deviates too far away from the image of those games. The only really staggering and useful thing they could announce to take away momentum from the other two press conferences would be that they obtained exclusive rights to some high level 3rd party developers.

Lube Me Up

Microsoft - 7.5 - I expect a lot of games and I expect the Scorpio to truly look a lot better then anything we have seen on consoles so far.

Sony - 8 - I expect some new surprises from Japanese Developers and a good, solid showing overal I expect the VR support to be less impressive, hope I am wrong on that

Nintendo - 8.5 - Expect to see the lineup for next year and I expect we will be blown away by excellent gameplay which is their trademark as Nintendo holds the strongest first party support.
