So, almost half of XB1 users have used BC? That's actually pretty high. What was the 1.5% for then? Time used?

Yes. Time spent.

It's kind of a sad statistic though. One might think that there is nothing worth new to play.

Let me create possible scenarios...

1. People are playing new games AND revisiting old games.

2. Perhaps people are playing good games they missed last gen.

3. Maybe 360 had a lot of unique content.

People have also had a decade to build up their Xbox 360 collection.

That's equal to saying: DVD playback on Blu-ray players > Netflix

Ofcourse it's only true if you already own the blu-ray player and the dvd.

Not really. Most people use bc for games they already own for no extra cost.

That's what I'm saying, if you already own the dvd and have a bc blu-ray player, why stream (the sd version) on Netflix.
Ofcourse BC is better than streaming if you already have the game and equipment.

I wonder how many hours ps now is used. I already run into bandwidth cap problems with Netflix so it's probably limited to people with unlimited internet to get the most out of it. At least with BC everyone gets to play as much as they like. (assuming you can download the full games)

Thats like saying steam users wont use their other features on the PC like the browser if steam had a better library. You cant be gaming all time.

PC isn't primarily used for gaming you know. And I'm not sure what you're arguing.. that more games wouldn't have an effect on how much time is spent playing?

Im just saying that console users arent always gaming so they might use other apps like youtube. For an example lets sya thye play 4 hours through the day and watch 2 2 hour movies ta night on youtube.

I don't understand why anyone would try to argue that BC is a useless or unwanted creature.

Its usually the people trying to justify why someone else does not have it.  Either way, I doubt it will ever be a bad addition.  I know my family use it constantly.
