Forums - Microsoft - Xbox Scorpio Price / Release Date Revealed in Hidden Message?

So what happens with the original Xbox One 100$ price tag?

Makes sense for it to be $399. By the holidays XB1'S will be $199 so it being double the price matches up with Phill said about it being the "premium " xbox one.

Anyone else still remembers when people were saying it would cost like 700-800 bucks when it was announced?

If the 400 bucks is try then damn ps4 pro is going to look expensive

I remember 500-600, but not 700-800!

I agree on that!

If the PS4Pro had a 4k(UHD) drive, I would have gotten it instead of the XB1s.  Sony could have at least included that for a true commitment to a 4k experience.  It will be easy for MS to talk about a system that plays true 4k movies and games.  Either way, this will NOT significantly change MS fortunes this gen.  It just sets up the brand better for the future...

It is near the end of the end....

I highly doubt it will be any lower than $499. The amount of RAM and the 4K drive are not cheap.

Still counting on $449

The XB1'S has 4K blu-ray and will hit $199 this year. Also Scorpio only has 4gb more ram so it's possible.
