You're going on a tangent. I'm just pointing out millions are using 360 BC and that should justify its existence.

Anecdotally its not uncommon to see people on my friends list utilzing BC. Especially when notable content hits GWG.

If pointing out how irrelevant BC is to changing the consoles sales fortune is a tangent then so be it.  Facts are facts and XB1 has been doing terribly this year.  Looks like those 300+ titles haven't done much.

At the end of the day 50% have tried BC but only 1.5% actually spend their time playing.  That star says a lot.  Jim Ryan vindicated.

And there is a great example of unrealistic expectations, Kerotan thought there would be some major sales boost for BC.

X1 hasn't been doing terrible and you can expect a big boost during the holiday... as always. Some are waiting for the Scorpio as well.

Oh hey, look what I just found.

/thread

playing for a few minutes does not mean it's being hugely supported.

Given it has well over 300 games and many notable titles, its very possible people are playing more than a few mintues.

Eitherway people said I couldn't prove millions were using it and there is the evidence.

Actually, one of the best things about BC is many 360 titles actually play better on BC. Such as improved frame rates, faster loading, less texture pop in, no screen tear, etc.

I was one of the smart ones who knew BC wouldn't change its sales fortunes. Unfortunately many around here thought it would be a big selling point and would change the consoles fortunes.

In fact I am more suprised gaming still get more time than vídeo streaming. Every time I check my friends list most are on Netflix and YouTube.

I know a few people, including my ex gf's son, who solely use their console to watch TV (streaming services, really). To me, it's insane!

It's why Sony didn't put a UHD drive in the Pro. Everyone streams and use their consoles for it.

Ooh, let's poke that bear. What percentage of total time is used to watch physical 4K blu-rays on XBox One S.

After the initial report of 4K blu-ray sales outpacing blu-ray (for the months blu-ray was behind the much cheaper HD-DVD, prior ps3 release) it's been dead silent on any sales numbers. The last Google can find is

http://www.denofgeek.com/us/movies/blu-ray/263154/falling-dvd-blu-ray-sales-and-an-era-passing
It’d be remiss not to mention Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray too, a format launched to not much noise last year, that in theory is the premium, highest quality physical disc format for home collectors. The reason it’s in theory? Because studios simply aren’t supporting it. A handful of releases a month, and charging £30 or upwards for a 4K presentation of a catalogue film such as Salt or I Am Legend, is not winning people over. Furthermore, Disney – holding the keys to virtually all Star Wars films, as well as the Marvel cinematic universe and no shortage of much-loved animated films – has yet to announce a release for the format. How are film lovers supposed to get behind it, if the studios are hedging their bets so much?

Sucks, I love my blu-ray collection and was looking forward to getting a 4K projector when affordable. Yet 4K blu-ray really does seem to be a strugling format. I'm not helping either, my blu-ray spending has collapsed in recent years, from over $1000 a year to maybe $200, in favor of watching tv series on Netflix. It seems there just aren't a lot of good movies being made anymore and I already have all the ones I like (about 500) 4K blu-ray also falls short of what I expected, while 35mm movies hardly benefit of going above blu-ray anyway.

Maybe so but that's going off topic. I just don't understand people's logic with what I mentioned.

Ok BC is good. But if you're going to bitch about having to pay for the last gen games on your current gen console then that's just a stupid statement to make. Firstly, if you want to play your last gen games then you keep your last gen console. Even 360 owners  that still want to play 360 games should because not every game is BC on Xbox One. Secondly, if you sold your last gen console then you more than likely sold your games because why would you even sell your console if you still had games you want to play on it. Therefore giving up your right to access that game.

My point is, why the fuck would anybody get rid of there last gen games and console and then bitch about not being able to play them. It's retarded.

Oh wow, you have more common sense than an ignorant minority. Good for you.

Still a great feature millions are using.

Dividing 508m by 14.8m you get an average of 34.3 minutes, which is more than the 23minutes the data shows.
