Personally, i think that unless they have lots of other major surpries saved for E3, showing a game a week before makes zero sense. I'm hoping this is the case but in reality, everything should be saved for E3 imo. At E3 bigger is better. More beneficial to have 2 megatons rather than 1. I could just see people saying Nintendo's E3 lacked surprises otherwise...

Appropos, a remake should sell above 10m no matter HD or not... Every pokemon remake has sold more than 10m! Perhaps, the games of 4th gen in overly superior graphics could sell like a main game, plus that these games are for many people ( including me, I love Platinum ) the best Pokemon games ever.
Third versions sells between 6.5m-8m...So you could be right, that HD version could heple a third version to sel 10m+ for the first time.
( Pokemon yellow doesn't count, it was in the era of Pokemon franchise debut )

A direct just for mobile and dlc, don't kid yourself mate! This probably isn't going to be a full blown reveal, just a teaser, see Sun/Moon and OR/AS. They'll go more in depth at E3.

I was almost sure, I just had the a slight fear that you might have acquired ''anti-3dsness'' after switch release...
8 minutes is really short for a Direct, no? I won't get my hopes up just yet, Nintendo is still not immune to bad decisions even though they've been doing great lately.
