However, most of the reason for that is just because of its shitty engine, slow-paced gameplay and awful soundfonts... so I guess a remake on the Switch would be alright. I'd still prefer a second remake of gen 1, though.

One day we're going to have an actual real discussion about why you're wrong about Gen 4 so we can stop these petty pot-shots.

That day isn't today, though.

not excited at all, most likely a Pokemon Go events talk and new title for mobile phones/tablets

and hopefully not Pokemon Stars, Moon/Sun are not that good at all

they really need to upgrade Pokemon games like they did with Zelda, we need a full 3D remake of the original for Switch with tons of new things, they can't go on forever with adding more monsters and maps, I think we already got too many

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

There's never been a Pokemon Direct with news like that.

We've had 3. 2 have been game reveals. All have shared major info on an inreleased main series game.

Nintendo had better get their production ramped up to 30m if they are planning on releasing a mainline pokemon game this FY on the switch!
