First of all, your English is not bad. Seems to be as good as many Americans. And good for you for not being scared to admit who you are. It must be difficult, living in a place that is so inhospitable to you.
Regarding LGBT characters, I have to say that I very much like the fact that the Ryder character in Mass Effect Andromeda was ostensibly bisexual. I don't think she, or anybody else in any video game has significantly influenced my opinion of LGBT people though. I'm a hardcore libertarian, so I try my best to treat all people as individuals. I certainly don't discriminate based on sexual orientation. At least, not that I'm aware of.
On a somewhat related note, I've found that I much prefer playing as a female character, when given the choice. I'm a straight male. I think it's nice to be able to put myself in someone else's shoes. Not that playing a video game character is anything close to the same thing.

Are you sure about that? I thought it was something to do with their affinity being maxed and talking to them last (when there's a bunch of them maxed out). |
Indeed, but good luck figuring that out the first time. Even gifting the Arisen's Bond doesn't help at times, which leads to the irrevocable situation that our true love is...

I was gonna pass on this, since I couldn't think of any, but I got one now, Leon from Fire Emblem Echoes.
What I really like about him and the whole situation in general, is that he is openly gay and no one really has a problem with it. His feelings become very obvious early on, and although he talks about it a little too much, it's quite refreshing to see such a thing be talked about so open and casually. Heck, another character asks further about his tastes in men, just out of curiosity. Never have I see something like that in games, and it's kinda nice to see.

Yes, Fournival, the same guy from the pic. Happens to plenty of players the first time around, because he's the only one who sells revival stones pieces, and he gains maximum affinity with you once you save his life.

Couldn't you have used Saints Row again for T? Not sure about #4 (haven't played it yet) but I'm sure you could get a sex change at will in #3. IIRC there was even an achievement for it! |
Oh yeah, 'Switch Hitter' I think it was called. I don't really count it, since the change happens while you're in the not-Matrix. (It does last outside the not-Matrix, but that seems like the devs didn't really put much thought into it.

Of course a heap of people are having a nice discussion and someone needs to complain about it.
Here is an idea though... Don't like it? Don't participate in the thread?
| Tryklon said: Where is the thread asking whats your favorite heterosexual character? That's right, it doesnt exist... |
Oh here we go... The difference between them is that Heterosexual characters are the norm, not an exception.
If you are a straight, white, male. Don't assume you know what being a minority is like, what discrimination is like because you don't.
Besides, there are plenty of other threads asking what your favorite characters are that aren't LGBTQI-exclusive, go participate in those or start your own thread asking what your favorite heterosexual character is, it's a forum, you can do that you know.

Actually surprised how many games people have suggested.
Giving me the urge to go check them out.
Is Mass Effect: Andromeda decent now? Whats it's Male same-sex romances like?
