Scorpio will dominate until Sony or nintendo releases a more powerful console.

Is this a joke ? power doesn't sell consoles, games do, and MS has a big problem with first party games

Nothing. I'm satisfied with OG XB1.

Already the pattern in those answers suggests that the general feeling towards the scorpio is, that the console is DOA. What is MS thinking? I mean they must have had given thoughts about the scorpio proposition in todays console market.
Obviously MS started designing and engineering the scorpio years ago, when it was hard to predict todays market, and they will stick to their plan by releasing it now. But why?
As there are no obvious incentives for gamers to buy it, even from XboxOne owners, what arre they doing?
Perhaps it is just a 'fill in the gap' mission to counter the PS4/Pro line, but where MS is not believing it will sell that much. It could therefore just be a pscyhological effect for consumers.

I will purchase it because it will be my main machine for 3rd party titles and the exclusives I like from MS.  I have a PS4 Pro and to be honest, I just enjoy the feel of the X1 controller better.  I have an elite controller and playing Console Fighting games is just better with the controller.  I also like the X1 interface to chat, and other non gaming items.  The X1 is my main media machine and being the best system for 3rd party games is a winner for me since those are the games I play the most.

I have a pc but I really do not put any more money into the gaming aspect of that PC and even if I did, I rather play on my couch then at my PC desk.  My day job is sitting in front of a PC all day so going home, I rather not sit in front of a monitor.  I have no interest in hooking up my PC to the TV so that is out.

Either way, judging how good or bad the Scorpio will sell based on this thread is probably premature since I always feel people who have something negative to say are first to respond to anything.

I can not say if I will or will not buy something I have not even seen.

A price around $200 or some promising first party titles. Not really interested in what MS has to offer for their system this gen, unlike last gen.

I will get one if it's $399 at launch.

It would need to be ridiculously cheap, which will obviously never happen.

I'll buy Scorpio when I see a variety of quality first and second party games on it such as Nintendo and Sony offerings.

MANY exclusive games that appeal to me, I know it's super generic but the thing is MS has shut down so many studios that I can't even tell what kind of game I could expect...
