Forums - Nintendo - Where the hell is Switch Yooka laylee At?

At this point I've pretty much lost all interest in this.

If it had released on Wii U as originally planned I would've bought it, but as things stand I don't feel like Playtonic deserve my money.

M-maybe it's becoming the definitive version and we don't even know it!

I'm honestly not that hyped about this game anymore, especially after the reviews (Not that they matter much, mind you. It already looked kinda bland to me before). I'll probably still get it, but I'm way more excited for A Hat in Time currently and I hope that gets a Switch port someday (Devs were trying to get devkits a while ago IIRC).

Edit: To answer your question, they're still working on it, but it's only coming out after they finish fixing some of the bigger issues with the game. I personally think it's for the better since we'll receive a more polished game in the end.

Hopefully it's canned.

Stuck at Nintendo quality control?

Looks at The Letter on Wii U........then looks back at The Vivster....

C'mon. The Letter is no Yooka Laylee. Stop the game shaming.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

It didn't show at E3........beginning to think cancelled 🙈😱

the Switch version was a late start since it took a while for Nintendo to reveal it and send out dev kits. They are likely just trying to get it optimized so it works better on the different hardware. My guess is we will see it release on the Switch in november

Yeah but it's gonna face stiff competition soon in the name off Mario

PS actually that's pretty cool, be just like having banjo and SM64, just need a goldeneye killer now ( hello Metroid)

Yeah, I'd like to know myself. I only really care because technically it's owed to me since I backed it in Kickstarter. Silly me
