All the people talking shit about square enix should shut up, pick one Ipad or phone, get Final fantasy brave exvious and start to play that shit right now. Do it, its amazing.

This Isn't about Square Enix, but what happens every time Nomura is put in charge of something. Yes, Brave Exvious is awesome.

Which part are you referring to? His talent? He is highly talented, I just think he would need someone to hold his reins so to speak and make sure his projects actually progress the way they should. Possibly a co-director would help.

Talented in what Darashiva? That's where I'm confused.

Most of the things I've seen him do, including character design and directing video games (the Kingdom Hearts games you mentioned, or at least the ones I've played). If you don't like his work that's fine, doesn't bother me really.

This E3 will mark 4 years since Kingdom Hearts III was announced, and we still don't have even a release year, or a demo, Final Fantasy XV had 2 before release.

I'm pretty sure KH3 was announced at the PS4 reveal in February 2013, so its already past 4 years now.

Nevermind, I was wrong.

February they only showed the controller, the reveal was on E3 2013 and both KH III and Versus XIII becoming XV where announced there.

Yeah, you're right

Yes he is, but he's clearly better in character design than he is as a project manager. Time management is not in his skills set...

I used to like Nomura as a character designer, but after Final Fantasy X and snowballing with Kingdom Hearts, his character designs have become a convoluted overdone mess. Go check out his interpretations of DC heroes/villians; omg. Lightning Returns also was a pretty bad. He has failed being a director more than he has succeeded. The minute the side story KH games started being produced as a way to keep the series relevant is where quality just dropped off.

Isnt bizarre that there is more side stories than mainline games, but how none it advances anything forward???

Well, it helps that I've only played Birth by Sleep out of all the side stories. Since they mostly came out on handhelds I never really bothered with them. Just didn't seem like something worth putting too much time into personally.

Well at least they are being honest about their release window, and not saying that when the game is close to release date *cough* zelda *cough*. At least the later turned into a good one. Lets hope the same thing will apply.

A handheld gamer only (for now).
