Does gta get the same outrage from Americans?  Because that rips the absolute piss out of everything American.  Far more offensive then any far cry could hope to be. 

I would like to know how many of the people who signed are actually serious about this. XD

Due to things like these:

Us Gamers have had to endure a lot of crap over the last few years.  The targeted harassment by the mainstream press through Gamergate, the terrible launch and outright lies of highly anticpated video games, the outright censorship of art through “localization” policies, the continued rejection of romantic partners when they find out our hobby, the appropriation of our culture by so-called “gamers” on twitter.  NO MORE!

I'd say that it's a parody. Not the best one I've seen, but still worth a smile.

That said, what I don't know is if those that have signed it have also read it as a satire, or they really think that.

Personally I think it's a good attempt at satire but that most signing it don't cop it's a joke.

Now I hope it comes to Switch, just to have the enjoyment of enjoying the christian villains

Oh boo fucking hoo. Every other race, religion and ethnicity can be a villain but when a relatively small group of cultist white Christians are the bad guys, NOW it's gone too far? Come oooon. I can't imagine real hardcore gamers/fans are too bothered by this but it still bugs me than people get offended by anything and everything.

Ubisoft has an entire franchise where the Christians are the bad Guys before FC5.

If true, that's just a completely stupid boycutt. Remember Far Cry 2, with black people. Who cares that it's the christian cults this time that are targeted. It's a fictional game! Instant buy for me. Looks great.
