also calling now that Anthem will be downgraded as fuck upon release, even on Scorpio

I expect TLOU2, Metro 3, Anthem, Death Stranding, and maybe even Cyberpunk to all be cross gen games, hopefully uncompromised on PS5 and XBY.

Mak s nobsense to me that they know people don't like 500 dollar consoles and they go and build one for that price? Quickly going over the price during the presentation because he knew. But why?

Sony + NBA finals.

I assume you're talking about the Xbox One X?

  1. They'd probably sell it at a huge loss if it was at $399
  2. $499 for a brand new console (Xbox One) and $499 for simply a more powerful version of a console 4 years into the generation (Xbox One X) isn't really compareable IMO. If $499 for the XB1X is too steep you can just get the XB1s at half the price, your games will just output at a lower resolution and wont look as good. Even at $399 it wouldn't have set the world on fire when you can play the same games on a $249 console, it still would only appeal to the hardcore gamers, at $499 it just does that even more so.

Consoles like the PS4Pro and XB1X are simply never gonna set the world on fire when you can play the same games at a lower resulation and worse graphic for much cheaper ($150+). The PS4Pro accounts for 20% of PS4s sold since it's release and that's more than fine, and the XB1X will probably account for about 15% of XB1 consoles sold once it's out, and that's also fine.

I don't think 15% of what XB1 is currently selling is enough though.

Sony is going to kill it tomorrow! Rumors have it that they are planning something special for 30th anniversary for Metal Gear. "J" stated on Twitter that he is going to be there for a Metal Gear Survive moment as well as other major surprises. GET HYPED!

More of the Spider-Man game, Uncharted: Lost Legacy, Last of Us 2, God of War 4, Resistance 4 (rumored) OH GOD THE HYPE IS REAL! And we're just getting started. Sony will win this E3 hands down. I can feel it! :D

So what's everyone's take? Will they show TLOU 2 first or last? I kinda think it will be first unless they really don't have to show anything good for last.

Neither. I doubt TLOU2 will appear this E3 at all. They stressed at PSX that it was in early development and they have enough to cover as it is. They'll either open or close with Sucker Punch's game. The other end will be capped off with either another big new game of theirs or perhaps a rumored Rockstar game. TLOU2 will return at this year's PSX at the earliest, if not E3 2018.

How can this shit be in early development? They should've been on it since the last one released? I will be really disappointed if they don't show anything at all.

Naughty Dog seems to be running ~1.5 teams these days with the same top staff overseeing the principal production of each game (Neil Druckman in particular). This probably didn't hit principal until after Uncharted 4 left it.
