Other companies (including Sony) should learn from Ratchet and Clank and this game while remaking an old game or old games. The Wipeout omega collection also seems to be an improvement of the old games especially the Vita tracks look way better. Anyway kudos to Activision since they did a very good job.

They call them Remasters, instead of Remakes.

They try to stay true to the original game as much as possible.

Instead of remakeing them from the ground up with new systems ect.

I prefer that way of going about things.

Didn't Activision rebuild this game from the ground up for PS4. I know they did that with Ratchet and Clank and made it more modern. I prefer that over lazy remasters like God of War III remastered which also costs $40 when launched. Sure they remain very true to their originals but this game defenitly looks pretty good for a PS4 title. Wipeout omega might have actually used parts of the original wipeout HD fury code.

Looks bland by today's standards to be honest.

I actually agree with this. Typical western developer choice to choose tech over style in the visual department, which is pretty disappointing because the original trilogy had lots of visual cartoony flaire with being relatively untaxing than these remakes do. Its like the difference between Street Fighter 3's animation for moves vs Street Fighter 4 for the same moves.

It's about time we see warped. out of the three games this is my favorite.

Genuinely looks great, they did a fantastic job!
