A turn based Zelda would be excellent. Zelda already has heaps of Japanese themes, and some of the games are definitely RPGs. Other games within the series have RPG elements, so Zelda could easily lend itself to becoming a JRPG.
I guess it would work - but would rather prefer a new JRPG from Nintendo itself
Yes, but Nintendo will say no because it is unnecessary, the Zelda games are already RPGs enough these days and Nintendo seems to have issue with the exception of platformers of having too many games occupy the exact same genre at the same time.
Well, that'd certainly be interesting, that's for sure! But obviously an action-RPG would be much more suited to the Zelda franchise.
