My fear was that they would do a Big Bang Theory Junior version.

I didn't know that the Big Bang Theory was still that popular! Personally, I've lost interest in the series years ago, and this show does not look like it'll get my attention at all!

Looks a lot better than I was expecting. They seem to be going for a Goldberg's kind of style, rather than a usual sitcom with a laugh track.

Hm...I still watch TBBT, though their best years are way in the past, so I was expecting some classic sitcom spinoff.

This surprised me a bit, though I don't think it'll do too well - I'll give it a shot, but I doubt they can pull off Malcolm in the Middle type of success with it.
