Its great move, I think Splatoon TestFire is one of main reasons why Splatoon become so popular very early, people actually tried game and they knew how awesome it is (including myself).
And game definitely looks like next Splatoon in any case, this could easily be next big IP for Nintendo after Splatoon.

Agree, it was obvious that last few years Nintendo was doing huge changes which effect will be seen with new generation (NX/Switch).

That's not exactly true, Nintendo also have lots a good decisions, but people on internet much more love to criticize bad decisions than to praise good decisions. Saying that, almost everything around Wii U except games were bad decisions, but now with Switch it's clearly they learned lessons.
I'm away on both weekend, just like the Splatoon 2 testfire, hopefully internet works better and it can change my mind wrt this game. Although the new modes seem fun, still unsure about the main game.

I actually like the times of this. It will be during my study break for my uni exams. So I'll have the chance to play it before and after my studies.

Yeah. Most uni here in Australia have their exams in June for the 1st semester. But yeah. I WILL make sure that my arms are ready for this xD I don't want to miss it like the Splatfire demo :(
