It was said during last month’s Nintendo Direct that a demo for Disgaea 5 Complete would be made available prior to the game’s overseas launch. That time has now come, as the trial can be downloaded right now from the North American Switch eShop.

You can access it by checking out the “Coming Soon” section and visiting Disgaea 5 Complete’s page. An option should appear on the right sidebar to download the demo.

That's cool. I played the demo on PS4 when it came out, I guess when I get a Switch I'll try it too in case it's different.

They really just need to have a seperate demo section in the eshop, it's a bit of a pain in the ass to find.

You can just search 'demo' and they'll all show up I think.

Yeah. thats how it works. 

On topic, I already have this pre-ordered but I might download the demo just to keep my hype up

I did that and it didn't show up. I had to go in the Future Releases section and click on Disgea 5 and then there's the demo option there.

I own Disgaea 1 and 2 on PS2, but never played them :-/

Would I be lost if I started with 5?

That's odd. Did the rest of the demos show up at least? I do agree that Nintendo really needs to make the demo option more accessible.

Also, thanks for the heads up on how to download it. I'll get it when I get home. :) 

Yeah the other ones showed up but not the Disgea one.
